Custom Designs

Custom-made garments can fulfill your needs for unique design and exceptional fit. I am available to custom-make a wide array of garments, from my signature circle skirts to fitted jackets and pants and dramatic burlesque ensembles. The process for bespoke apparel creation is outlined below.

1) The first step is a design consult, during which we will discuss your personal aesthetic and practical requirements for your wardrobe. I will also take your measurements at our design intake meeting. At this stage, an estimated price will be agreed upon (subject to change if the design evolves), and a 50% deposit will be required before further work can take place.

2) A mockup may be created of a basic "block", the foundation from which other garments are developed. The block is corrected and kept on file for future garments.

3) A mockup of the proposed final garment is constructed, to check for fit concerns that may have come up during style changes. Depending on the complexity of design, multiple mockups may be in order.

4) The final garment is stitched, and a fitting takes place before finishing details are applied.
